Building open source tools for learning on the internet

HTML and CSS are great, but we need interactivity to keep students engaged. With that in mind I am beginning to cover the Javascript, and Typescript programming languages. Javascript started it's life as a simple scripting language for browsers. Today it is a run anywhere language, and many developers use only Javascript to build their entire stack of technologies. Typescript is a superset of Javascript. Additionally Typescript is a "Typed" superset which is able to catch errors before a program begins to run in production. We will spend time to share facts about using Javascript, and typescript as they are languages that contribute to improving open source education.

Click above to "Show Site Links!" I am adding student projects from Electronhotel. Click below for the original design ideas from the Cosmetology CTE program. This website design is a little more historical. Today I am adding page code, and project code for instructors, trainers, and students to use in CTE programs and Classes. I am primarily concerned with teaching Front End Technologies for the Web. No matter what skill, or career students choose, they will be using the internet in the future. I am not talking about social media! I am talking about websites for companies, and the product support functions companies will need to provide.
